The article proposes to map the Folias de Reis paulistas through academic research on the subject and to discuss their contributions in recognition of the cultural goods together with the actions and local characteristics of its preservation. The Systematic Literature Review method was used, and the CAPES Theses and Dissertations Catalog was listed for the survey of 153 studies on the subject in Brazil, among them 12 referring to the State of São Paulo. Thus, 58 Folias de Reis were mapped in 27 municipalities in São Paulo.||O artigo propõe mapear as Folias de Reis paulistas mediante pesquisas acadêmicas sobre a temática, e discutir suas contribuições no reconhecimento do bem cultural junto às ações e características locais da sua preservação. O método de Revisão Sistemática de Literatura foi utilizado, sendo o Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES elencado para o levantamento de 153 estudos sobre a temática no Brasil, dentre eles, 12 referentes ao Estado de São Paulo. Assim, foram mapeadas 58 Folias de Reis em 27 municípios paulistas.
