A literatura, como construto inerente à sociedade humana, revela constituições sobre o ser no mundo e o estar no mundo e sobre as formas de relação do homem com a natureza. Nesse caminho, pensar a literatura dos povos indígenas nos permite não apenas compreender os aspectos culturais dos povos originários, mas refletir sobre a formação social a que chegamos. Assim sendo, torna-se relevante compreender as constituições na obra concreta da literatura que temos contato, especialmente em se tratando de uma literatura pouco estudada. Além disso, a lei 11645/2008 assegura a necessidade de estudo sobre os povos indígenas no currículo escolar, para promoção do resgate e da valorização culturais. Dessa forma, este trabalho contribui para o conhecimento literário sobre a literatura indígena, a partir da obra Histórias do céu contadas por Zahy e Tatá (Sá, Silva, 2016), por meio de levantamento teórico e análise da história que compõe o livro. A pesquisa seguiu preceitos da metodologia de pesquisa em literatura (Durão, 2020), tendo como foco a constituição e concepção literária dos povos indígenas e, por conseguinte, caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa bibliográfica e qualitativa. As análises sobre a obra auxiliam no aprofundamento do conhecimento sobre o fazer literário e cultural dos povos indígenas, em especial do povo Tenetehara que faz moradia no Maranhão.||Literature, as an inherent construct of human society, reveals constitutions about being in the world and about forms of relationship between man and nature. In this way, thinking about the literature of indigenous people allows us not only to understand the cultural aspects of the indigenous people, but also to think on the social formation we have had. Therefore, it becomes relevant to understand the constitutions in the work of the literature that we have contact with, especially when dealing with a little studied literature. In addition, the law 11645/2008 ensures the need to study indigenous people in the school, in order to promote cultural recovery and appreciation. In this way, this work contributes to the literary knowledge about indigenous literature from the book Histórias do Céu contadas por Zahy e Tatá (Sá, Silva, 2016), through a theoretical survey and analysis of the story that composes the book. The research followed precepts of the research methodology in literature (Durão, 2020), focusing on the constitution and literary conception of indigenous peoples and, therefore, is characterized as a bibliographic and qualitative research. The analyzes of the work help with knowledge about the literary and cultural work of indigenous people, especially the Tenetehara people, who live in Maranhão.
