It is information that reinforces this animation as a powerful cultural artifact, that is, as a product that operates as a way to produce subjectivities and build meanings. This means to say that we approached the post-structuralist and Foucaultian perspective to problematize masculinities, especially from the relationships established between hegemonic, accomplices, subordinated and marginalized masculinities. We also want to put under investigation the relationships between the story projected on the screen and the gender investments in the viewer, since we are considering that cinema and films teach things to their audiences, questioning the power relations that present themselves in cultural artifacts.||O Rei Leão é uma das mais assistidas e lucrativas produções do cinema. Trata-se de uma informação que reforça essa animação como um potente artefato cultural, ou seja, como um produto que opera como forma de produzir subjetividades e construir sentidos. Isso significa dizer que nos aproximamos da perspectiva pós-estruturalista e foucaultiana para problematizar as masculinidadesmasculinidades hegemônicas, cúmplices, subordinadas e marginalizadas. Também queremos colocar sob investigação as relações entre a estória projetada na tela e os investimentos de gênero naquele que assiste, já que estamos considerando que o cinema e os filmes ensinam coisas para suas plateias, questionando as relações de poder que se apresentam nos artefatos culturais.
