ABSTRACT
This article seeks to reflect on Jaider Esbell's artivism as inspiration for a theater teaching methodology based on studies on decoloniality. Based on the need to break with Eurocentric epistemologies and value Indigenous knowledge, we propose the use of theater as a pedagogical practice that fosters critical thinking, the deconstruction of stereotypes, and the construction of an intercultural educational environment. The objective of the research is to conduct a provocation based on Esbell's works and performance, in which theater becomes a space of resistance, allowing students to experience the indigenous worldview and engage in artistic creation processes aligned with anti-racist and decolonial education. As a methodology, we use bibliographic and documentary research, dialoguing with Law 11.645/08, Common National Curriculum Base, and the challenges of its implementation, highlighting the teaching of theater in overcoming these limitations and promoting a fairer and more plural education. As a result, we realized that the Indigenous artivism, understood as the intersection between Art and Activism, presents itself as a powerful approach to transform teaching, break stereotypes, promoting identity affirmation and confronting structural racism.

Theatre.||Este artigo busca refletir sobre o artivismo de Jaider Esbell como inspiração para uma metodologia de ensino de teatro baseados nos estudos sobre decolonialidade. A partir da necessidade de romper com epistemologias eurocêntricas e valorizar os saberes indígenas, propõe-se a utilização do teatro como prática pedagógica que fomente o pensamento crítico, a desconstrução de estereótipos e a construção de um ambiente educativo intercultural. O objetivo da pesquisa é realizar uma provocação a partir das obras e da atuação de Esbell, em que o teatro passa a ser um espaço de resistência, permitindo que estudantes vivam a cosmovisão indígena e se engajem em processos de criação artística alinhados à educação antirracista e decolonial. Como metodologia, usamos a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, dialogando com a Lei 11.645/08, a Base Nacional Comum Curricular, e com os desafios de sua implementação, destacando o ensino do teatro na superação dessas limitações e na promoção de uma educação mais justa e plural. Como resultado, percebemos que o artivismo indígena, entendido como a interseção entre Arte e Ativismo, se apresenta como uma abordagem potente para transformar o ensino, romper estereótipos, promovendo a afirmação identitária e o enfrentamento ao racismo estrutural.
