This work presents the interpretative analysis of texts from 25 Black higher education students, examining at the connection between their discourse regarding their formal education and the syntactic and textual challenges they face in reading comprehension and textual production. These challenges are framed within the context of the exclusionary systems of structural racism in Brazil, which seek to prevent them from acquiring the linguistic-discursive skills necessary to make the illocutionary forces of the utterances they read and write clearly apprehensible, thus enabling them to accurately delineate possible responsive attitudes and intended perlocutionary acts. The results highlight the need for pedagogies of linguistic memory that include reflections on how discursive policing expect and demand that syntax and textuality manifest themselves in written form, particularly, but not exclusively, in genres within the academic sphere.||Este trabalho apresenta uma análise de textos de 25 estudantes negras de ensino superior. Busca-se nela interpretar a conexão entre os discursos a respeito de sua própria educação formal e desafios sintáticos e textuais para a compreensão leitora e a produção textual, identificáveis na análise, que as enunciadoras encaram de forma mais intensa e expressiva em decorrência dos sistemas de exclusão do racismo estrutural no Brasil. Esses sistemas buscam impedi-las de que possam tornar nitidamente apreensíveis as forças ilocucionárias dos enunciados que lêem e escrevem de modo a delimitar com precisão compreensões responsivas possíveis e atos perlocucionários intencionados. Os resultados apontam para a conveniência de pedagogias de memória linguística que abranjam a reflexão em torno de como polícias discursivas esperam e exigem que a sintaxe e a textualidade se manifestem na modalidade escrita, particularmente, porém não exclusivamente, nos gêneros da esfera acadêmica.
