This work presents the contributions and importance of working with the theme of Regional History in the classroom, with students in the final years of Elementary School, in a rural school from the municipality of Caroebe/ State of Roraima. For a better understanding of the subject in question, a bibliographical study was carried out to present how the teaching of Regional History, was developed and also an analysis was made of the pedagogical proposal of a History teacher at a rural school. Despite the positive results and achievements in relation to the teaching of Regional History, the study concluded that it still needs more attention and materials aimed at teaching the diversity of each region, that enable to the young people to recognize their cultures and local characteristics. Therefore, the work highlights the need for teachers to share some of their reality with students so that they have knowledge about their state and a greater identification with the subject of History.||Este trabalho apresenta as contribuições e a importância em trabalhar com a temática da História Regional em sala de aula, com os alunos do Ensino Fundamental anos finais, em uma escola do campo no município de Caroebe, Estado de Roraima. Para melhor compreensão sobre a temática em questão, foi realizado um estudo bibliográfico para apresentar como o ensino de História Regional foi se desenvolvendo e também foi feita uma análise da proposta pedagógica de uma docente de História em uma escola do campo. Apesar dos resultados positivos e conquistas em relação ao ensino da História Regional, o estudo chegou à conclusão de que ainda precisa de mais atenção e materiais voltados para o ensino da diversidade de cada região, que possibilitem aos jovens reconhecerem suas culturas e as características locais. Logo, o trabalho aponta como resultados a necessidade destinada ao professor de repassar aos estudantes um pouco da sua realidade para que tenham conhecimento sobre o seu Estado e uma identificação maior com a disciplina de História.
