The aim of this research is to identify tensions present in collaborative practice of fashion design with women artists of the Kaingang ethnic group from the Kamé Kanhru Association and the principles of slow design by decolonial perspective. To this end, a bibliographical research was carried out with application of a semi-structured interview to a Kaingang focus group and the subsequent workshop experience, with the use of photographic and textual records in a field diary. The data collected was analyzed in a descriptive and qualitative-inductive way. As for the results, it was possible on the “Evolve” stage to relativize both the “guiding principles” of slow design and the “structuring pairs” of the subjects involved, as well as to verify both the good receptivity of the visual references by the indigenous artists and the interference of external influences in the social dynamics, habits and cultural customs of this community.||O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar tensões presentes na prática colaborativa de design de moda com mulheres artistas da etnia Kaingang da Associação Kamé Kanhru baseada nos princípios do design lento a partir da perspectiva decolonial. Para tanto, realizou-se pesquisa bibliográfica com aplicação de entrevista semiestruturada a um grupo focal Kaingang e posterior vivência de oficina com mulheres Kaingang, com uso de registros fotográficos e textuais em diário de campo. Os dados coletados foram analisados de forma descritiva e qualitativa-indutiva. Quanto aos resultados, foi possível na etapa “Evoluir” relativizar tanto os “princípios norteadores” do design lento quanto os “pares estruturantes” dos sujeitos envolvidos, bem como constatar a boa receptividade das referências visuais por parte das artistas indígenas e a interferência de influências externas nas dinâmicas sociais, hábitos e costumes culturais desta comunidade.
