The Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil presented many negative impacts. In this scenario, the Ministry of Health presented an an instability of managers: throughout from 2020 to 2022, the command was changed four times, within the ministers Luiz Henrique Mandetta, Nelson Teich, Eduardo Pazuello and Marcelo Queiroga. Given this contexto, we aimed to describe and analyze sociodiscursively the representations, in cartoons, of the minister of health during the pandemic. The theoretical-methodological base was the Semiolinguistics Theory (ST) from Patrick Charaudeau. Thus, we realized that the analysis was a complex task that demanded different ST frames and the partial results indicated that the representation of the health minister of the pandemic period consisted on a manager circumscribed by silencing, apathy and submission, in a context predominantly marked by negationism, omission and passivity. ||No cenário da pandemia de Covid-19 no Brasil, o Ministério da Saúde apresentou uma instabilidade de gestores: de 2020 a 2022, o comando foi alterado quatro vezes, tendo como ministros Luiz Henrique Mandetta, Nelson Teich, Eduardo Pazuello e Marcelo Queiroga. Diante desse contexto, objetivamos descrever e analisar sociodiscursivamente as representações, em charges, do ministro da saúde durante a pandemia. Como base teórico-metodológica, utilizamos a Teoria Semiolinguística (TS) de Patrick Charaudeau. Assim, os resultados parciais indicaram que a representação do ministro da saúde do período consistiu em um gestor circunscrito por silenciamento, apatia e submissão, em um contexto predominantemente marcado por negacionismo, omissão e passividade.
