The present study is an excerpt from the course completion work research - Pedagogy TCC. It aims to analyze and understand the possibilities of intertwining mathematics with children's literature. This research is qualitative with a bibliographic nature, with data collection and analysis of literary works researched, which contribute or enable the interweaving. In addition to theoretical research, field research was carried out with two classes from the 2nd year of Elementary School - phase I, in person in two institutions, one public and the other private. These moments were planned for the experience of literary art and mathematics, involving a previously chosen literary work, which had been selected for its interdisciplinary specificities. As a result, it is possible to reinforce the importance of theoretical knowledge and the need for constant training to deal with practical issues, resulting from propositions, experiences in favor of teaching and learning.||O presente estudo é um recorte da pesquisa de trabalho de conclusão de curso- TCC de Pedagogia. Tem por objetivo analisar e compreender as possibilidades do entrelaçamento da matemática à literatura infantil. Essa pesquisa é qualitativa de cunho bibliográfico com levantamento de dados e análise de obras literárias pesquisadas, as quais contribuem ou possibilitam o entrelaçamento. Além da pesquisa teórica, foi desenvolvida pesquisa de campo com duas turmas do 2° ano do Ensino Fundamental - fase I, na modalidade presencial em duas instituições, sendo uma pública e a outra particular. Esses momentos foram planejados para a vivência da arte literária e da matemática, sendo estes envolvendo uma obra literária escolhida previamente, a qual, havia sido selecionada pelas especificidades interdisciplinares. Como resultados, é possível reforçar a importância do conhecimento teórico e a necessidade da constante formação para lidar com as questões de ordem prática, resultantes das proposições, das experiências em prol do ensino e da aprendizagem.
