This document is an expanded summary of my doctoral thesis in Physical Education, which aimed to problematize the participation and impact of transgender women in Brazilian women's volleyball. I present problematizations about the insertion, permanence, and performance of transgender women in Brazilian women's volleyball, as well as analyze how the Legislative Power, the media, and renowned national public figures in the sport and/or related to the field (re)treat and position themselves on the topic. It is worth noting that the sports trajectory of transgender players in Brazilian women's volleyball is systematically interpreted and monitored, resulting in ignorance and illegitimacy of their participation in sports in the light of cis-heteronormativity.||Este documento é um resumo expandido de minha tese de doutorado em Educação Física, que teve como objetivo geral problematizar a participação e repercussão de mulheres transexuais no voleibol feminino brasileiro. Apresento problematizações sobre a inserção, permanência e atuação de mulheres transexuais no voleibol feminino pelo Brasil, bem como analiso de que forma o Poder Legislativo, a mídia e renomadas figuras públicas nacionais da modalidade e/ou ligadas à área (re)tratam e se posicionam sobre a temática. Destaca-se que a trajetória esportiva de jogadoras transexuais no voleibol feminino brasileiro é cistematicamente interpretada e vigiada, resultando no desconhecimento e ilegitimidade de sua participação no Esporte à luz da cisheteronormatividade.
